Parker Expands SensoNODE Line With New Bluetooth Products, Software Upgrade
Parker Hannifin, a provider of sensors used in industrial measurement and control applications, is rolling our six new products in its SensoNODE line of Bluetooth-enabled devices. These releases include:

• An update to its SCOUT Mobile condition-monitoring software. Mobile 3.0 features an improved interface that makes it easier for users to access data, export measurements and customize alarms and dashboards.

• A vacuum sensor designed for monitoring vacuum pumps and detecting system leaks.

• The new 4-20mA transmitter, which can be connected to any installed, wired sensor's 4-20mA current loop to convert the sensor into a Bluetooth wireless device.

• Two new temperature sensors with Bluetooth connectivity, one designed to be mounted to a pipe or piece of machinery via a zip tie to track approximate temperature inside that pipe or machinery, and a second with a probe that is used to collect the precise temperature of fluid or air inside machinery or piping.

• A version of Parker's ServiceJunior digital pressure gauge with an integrated Bluetooth radio.

• Parker's High-Strain sensor, which uses the company's patented, durable and energy-efficient electroactive polymer (EAP) strain technology. The stretchable polymer takes accurate measurements and can be strained up to 100 percent, with a lifecycle that exceeds a million cycles.

The products are expected to become available this fall. Those interested should contact Parker Hannifin for pricing details.
